Thread: How to Use & Create Torrents [DIY]

Hello,

i will explain how to use torrents and how to create your own torrents using the best utorrent client i know so far. which is utorrent (Only the registered members can see the link. Register here). Please, download this client and execute it before reading.

okay, using torrents it's so simple we just need to get a torrent:

1. go to Only the registered members can see the link. Register here, then choose the thread you like the most and click on the attachement (it has to be a .torrent file)

it will ask you to open it with some software (warning: if you are using Ares the file get's automatically executed by it. not always but sometimes happens. If you have this problem you have to go to Tools -> Options -> Applications -> search the Torrent File and use the dropdown list to select Utorrent. ) if you click on the drop down list you will see a few apps, choose Utorrent.

then utorrent will open and you'll see a new window. this windows provides you with the torrent info such as name,size, date.Check the path where are you going to save the files. You can select which files to download or not. then just click ok.

and that's it. If the torrent get listed and the arrow's colour gets Blue you are downloading the files! congrats!

if you are not able to download or you have problems fowarding your ports please reply here and i will try to solve your issues!

First I'd like to say thanks for the link to utorrent. But when I try to download a file I'm told I don't have permission. This is probably because I don't have enough replies yet. I'm new and I don't want to spam.
